You Are Having a Better Day Than This Benz Driver Stuck in Boat Dock
They tried to pull a jet ski out of the dock. It didn’t go well.
Clearwater, Florida saw one person learn the hard way about loading and unloading a small watercraft over the weekend. According to Clearwater Police’s Facebook page, the car found itself in this predicament after trying to tow out a jet ski from the boat dock. Obviously, that didn’t work.
Now, before you question motives, using a car for smaller craft like a jet-ski isn’t all that rare, especially in Florida. And suggesting a truck doesn’t do much use either because a lot of trucks in Florida are two-wheel-drive anyway. That being said, maybe this owner will learn from this mistake, and use a Mercedes SUV for this task in the future. Clearly, a sedan doesn’t cut it. Mercedes SUVs have better ground clearance, ability to wade deeper water, and also come with 4MATIC as well. Perfect for a slippery boat dock.
As with any feature on Facebook, though, the comment section is ripe with people doing their best to make light of the situation.
Some of the best:
“Must have been one heavy jet-ski!”
“Slightly used, fully washed inside and out”
“Somebody obviously wanted out of those payments”
“Something’s a bit fishy!”
We want to find out from our community though: do you have a Mercedes sedan or wagon and use it for light towing? We know these days you can throw a 1-1/4 inch hitch on just about everything. We want to see the most unique usage.
