Buy 1 of 25 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTRs Ever Made!

Unless you’ve got high-roller status, it’s possible that the only race car you’ll ever be able to buy is a tricked-out Mazda Miata or a Porsche 928. But, if you own a mega-yacht and have a condo in Monaco, you may be able to buy this stunning Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR.

According to Road and Track, the sales-listing for this street-legal race car with just 1,800 original miles surfaced on the internet a few days ago, and seems to be legitimate. Which is good news if you can afford a $2.7 million dollar limited-production car. Yes, you read that right. If you want to bring home a Mercedes-Benz that was actually homologated by the FIA to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, you’ll have to shell out the equivalent of $2.7 million dollars.

Not only that, but first you’ll have to fly to Germany, because that’s where the selling dealership is located. And then you’ll have to pay insane import fees, taxes, and all kinds of transportation and logistics-related expenses before your multi-million dollar, 612-horsepower baby makes it home. But hey, it’d be all worth it, right? After all, Mercedes claims that only 25 units were ever made, though some say that a non-registered VIN was made specially for Michael Schumacher at the time.

Whether you have the cash-on-hand or not, take the time to drool at these photos!
