Belissima! Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet on the Road in Italy

By -

Is there a better way to show off the Cabriolet’s features than cruising the Italian countryside top down?

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is synonymous with a luxurious driving experience. So Mercedes-Benz decided that for their newest #MBvideocar video, they would take the top down and let the 2019 Cabriolet free to roam. Equipped with 4MATIC AWD, the 362 horsepower car has the power and performance to take on every road, while dripping with style and luxe styling.

Filmmaker Tom Wolf was given the enviable job of driving the convertible through the picturesque towns and countryside. Wolf drives from the olive hills in Tuscany to the quaint towns in Umbria. The ride is smooth as silk, thanks to the Benz’s superior suspension.

The video demonstrates that the Cabriolet has no problem hitting some impressive speeds, and effortlessly climbs every incline. The E-Class comfortably seats four, and the 3.0-liter biturbo V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission masters the road.

Styling here is impressive, from the leather steering wheel to the chrome-plated dots on diamond radiator grille, all underscore the dynamic aesthetics.

There are high-tech components that add to the driving experience, such as smartphone integration, wireless charging and key fob functionality, a widescreen cockpit, and a slew of the newest driver assistance systems.

We could extol the many virtues of the E-Class Cabriolet. It’s sporty. It’s chic. It handles beautifully. It provides a great experience for drivers and passengers alike. But in this case, the film nicely demonstrates all of this, leaving us with ample amounts of both wanderlust and Benz envy.
