Brabus Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S

Badlands Green Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S takes inspiration from Rolls-Royce to create luxury that matches the power.

Brabus. Just say the name and you know what to expect. A powerful Mercedes that has been tuned by a company with a long history in pushing Mercedes performance to new heights. Fostla may not be as well known. They are a German company that specializes in vehicle wraps that will transform the look of your ride. Brabus and Fostla have just combined efforts on a Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S. The result is this amazing 800 horsepower German rocket ship that is wrapped in a stunning “Badlands Green” film. This is a powerful and stylish sedan unlike any other.

A bone stock Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S is a lovely and powerful car. However, next to this modified version, the stock car seems utterly boring. And it is not just under the hood and the exterior color scheme that makes this stand out.

This car has drawn some inspiration from none other than the folks at Rolls-Royce for some key interior touches. If you are looking to spruce up the interior of your car there are not many better companies to follow than Rolls-Royce.

Power

Right away you know a Brabus car has extra power under the hood. While the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S rolls out of the factory with a significant 630 horsepower figure, Brabus tacks on an extra 170 ponies. The 800 horsepower comes courtesy of the Brabus PowerXtra B40S-800 package. The package generates its power primarily from the two larger turbochargers. Peak torque is also boosted from a stock 664 pound-feet to 737 pound-feet. This extra grunt is enough to propel the car to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. And it does not run out of steam until it hits 196 mph. Not bad for a luxury sedan that weighs a little over 4,400 pounds.

The most striking aspect of the exterior is the color change wrap. However, there are several other modifications that set this car apart. The body kit includes a custom front bumper and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. And of course, the Brabus badging.

The Brabus Monoblock Z forged wheels are 21-inches up front and 22-inches in the rear. If you peak through the spokes, you can see the large carbon-ceramic disc brakes with copper-colored calipers. Putting the power to the ground are Pirelli P Zero tires. They are 275/35 in the front and a massive 335/25 in the rear. The car has also been lowered by nearly an inch to give it that perfect stance.

Rolls-Royce Connection

Step inside this special car and it of course looks amazing with the extensive use of carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara. But what about that headliner? You will see that this car is fitted with a sky-lit headliner using a heap of miniature LEDs that act as stars. You will find a very similar treatment in many modern Rolls-Royce vehicles. It looks right at home in this Brabus.

Wow. That is the final word. This custom Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S looks absolutely amazing and has the performance chops to back it up. Zero to sixty in under 3 seconds. Top speed of nearly 200 mph. Drop dead gorgeous looks. What more could you ask for?
