If the already-fast Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S just isn’t enough, here’s one that packs something a little ‘extra.’

For most people, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S is more than fast enough. Its twin-turbo V8 pumps out an impressive 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, after all. Throw in a quick-shifting 9-speed automatic gearbox and some suspension voodoo, and you’ve got an SUV that performs more like a proper sports car. The proof is in the numbers, as the standard AMG GLC 63 S rockets to 60 mph in just 3.3-seconds and does the quarter mile in 11.7 clicks.

Of course, we aren’t most people. So for those of us who want a little more out of life, Brabus has worked some additional magic on the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S. And the result is what they like to call simply the 600 Compact SUV, which features a “boosted” output of 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t take much to get there, either. Brabus simply turned up the boost and installed a “plug-and-play” control module containing new mapping for the ignition and injection. Throw in a stainless steel exhaust, and there you go.

Brabus claims those extra ponies help shave two-tenths of a second off the AMG SUV’s 0-62 time, placing it even closer to supercar territory. Not to shabby for a 4,500 pound ‘ute, eh? But they’ve also removed the stock limiter. Which means this GLC will top out at an impressive 186 mph instead of the stock vehicle’s 155 mph limit.

Of course, all of that extra speed means nothing if you don’t look cool too. So Brabus’ hopped up Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S comes with plenty of external mods. They include forged 22-inch wheels and a host of naked carbon fiber aero bits. Interior options abound as well, as customers are able to choose from a host of aluminum trim, leathers, and Alcantara. Altogether, it’s what the kids these days like to call “extra.” And it’s exactly the way we like our cars.
