These videos, by Media Gamut Motoring and RealMCR12, take us to a place of sorrow and frustration, where a lady, phone-in-hand, starbucks cup-nearby, and a few children climbing around the back of her ’80s Mercedes-Benz 380 SL, manages to crash into an immaculate Ferrari 458 Speciale.
If the “Speciale” doesn’t ring a bell, it’s the hardcore, lighter, faster, and much more expensive model of the Ferrari V8 lineup — basically a race car for the streets. Oh, and it costs a cool $400,000 when new, and has a reputation for appreciating rather quickly. Sadly this particular stallion will not be going up in value any time soon… or likely ever.
