Custom Mercedes Maybach S-Class Belongs in a Celebrity Garage

DeSean William Jackson’s latest acquisition is this custom Mercedes Maybach S-Class that rides on a set of Forgiato rims.

The Tri-star brand is amidst a major overhaul at the moment. Earlier last year, Mercedes confirmed that many of its nameplates, including the ultra-luxurious Maybach brand, will adopt electric mobility in the near future. Needless to say, Maybach is an essential part of the S-Class lineup. Earlier this month, a custom Mercedes Maybach S-Class broke cover.

The car we have here belongs to Las Vegas Raiders’ wide receiver DeSean William Jackson. The special limousine results from a collaboration between Los Angeles-based outfit Creative Designs Motorsports and the football star. The pièce de résistance of this gorgeous ensemble are the beautiful Forgiato rims that sport an old-school mesh-like design.

Another noticeable design change is the bodywork’s murdered-out color scheme. This 2022 Mercedes Maybach S-Class flaunts a rich and menacing all-black paint job. Furthermore, the attention to detail throughout the car is commendable.

So far, we do not have any information regarding the pricing of this custom Mercedes Maybach S-Class.

The luxury limousine ditches its three-pointed star logos in favor of Mercedes Maybach’s ‘MM’ badge. We’re not sure if Mercedes will approve of this design choice. Earlier this month, Daimler AG announced that it would be rebranding its name to Mercedes-Benz. The car also rides on an aftermarket suspension setup which allows it to sit lower to the ground.

The German automaker’s luxurious offering is only available in the S 580 trim for those unfamiliar with the US-spec Mercedes Maybach nameplate. This variant gets a mild-hybrid EQ boost powertrain. The drivetrain comprises a gear-mounted electric motor that adds 147.5 lb-ft of torque and 20 HP to the overall power output. Under the hood, we find a 4-liter V8 engine that puts out 496 HP of maximum power and 516 lb-ft of peak torque.

A nine-speed automatic gearbox sends power to all four wheels thanks to the Mercedes 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. According to company estimates, the Mercedes Maybach S 580 can hit the 62 MPH mark from a complete standstill in just 4.8 seconds. Furthermore, the luxury limousine can achieve a top speed of 155 MPH.
