Dinan Tuning

Dinan is best known for tuning to BMWs from mild to wild. Now they are offing a tuning suite for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Lineup.

Dinan tuning is now available for the C-Class Mercedes including the C400, C450 AMG, AMG C43, AMG C63, and the AMG C63 S. Dinan will match your factory warranty with installation of the DINANTRONICS Elite System. So, this means the tune will not void or change your factory warranty in any way. This type of warranty has long been a staple of Dinan with BMWs. So, it is good to know they stand behind their product and back up their engineering with a matching factory warranty. The numbers are looking pretty enticing.

The Dinan tuning will bump up a Mercedes C63 horse power to 609, that is 76 hp jump. The tune boosts torque from 572 ft-lbs to a healthy 664 ft-lbs, a 92 ft-lb bump. The lower models are treated to increase in power and torque as well. The C400 jumps from 372 horsepower (measured by Dinan) to 429 horsepower and from 399 lb-ft of torque to 429 lb-ft of torque. The C450 and AMG C43 went from 415 horsepower to 466 horsepower and from 387 lb-ft of torque to 442 lb-ft of torque. All are solid improvements from a simple tune on all levels.

The hardware and software are an easy install at home or an authorized dealer. The Dinan brand has a solid reputation in the BMW world as for its engineering. For years they were BMWs in-house performance parts supplier in the US, offering everything from full motor builds to full suspension upgrades. We can only hope we will see some of the upgrade options for Mercedes-Benz in the future. We at MBWorld are eager to see the DINANTRONICS Elite System tuning in action.

Let us know in the comments, do you plan on picking up that extra power and torque with a Dinan kit?
