Gains, Bro: Weistec Mercedes-AMG C63 S Posts Faster Quarter-Mile Times

When you think about it, cars have it easy. If they want to improve, get faster, and handle tighter, all that’s required is a few new parts. Sometimes, it’s as easy as an ECU unit tune, and you’ll see a significant increase in performance. That’s what Orange County-based, German-focused garage Weistec Engineering does best.

One of the tuners’ most recent projects is the already powerful Mercedes-AMG C63 S. It starts stock with a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 that produces 510 horsepower and gallops to 62 mph in 4.0 seconds. According to the video below, the factory spec model ran a 12.033 quarter mile at 115.6 mph. That was the baseline. But Weistec went and made it better.

Thanks to “ECU calibration and high-flow air filters,” the upgraded C63 ran an 11.5 at 119.95 mph. Just watch the proof below.
