Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG Unveiled!

Now this is the CLA we’ve been waiting for. For months now, Mercedes has been showing off the tantalizing A-Class AMG over seas as a sexy slab of sheet metal that would never make the flight across the Atlantic. No matter. We’re getting the hatchback’s equally hot sister: the CLA45 AMG. They’re fraternal twins I guess, kinda like the Bundchen sisters. Except they’re cars, instead of super models.

Officially, the sport sedan will debut at the New York Auto Show. In reality, we pretty much know what they’re offering here already. A hopped up, 2 liter engine will deliver 360hp to all four wheels via 4matic all-wheel drive. Yes, the engine will be transversely mounted, but as we know from the spec sheets, the AMG model should be biased toward the rear wheels. Rest assured, this AMG will still be able to powerslide with impunity.

We’ll be sure to have a press-release full of all the excruciating details in the coming weeks. By then, things like price and availability should be clearer.
