New Interior Shots of the 2014 S-Class
Burled wood inlays, polished piano black faces, chrome accents… a mechanical clock. If there’s one sure sign of luxury, it’s that your $100,000+ automobile tells the time through an analogue timepiece. It’s classy, as is the rest of the interior. Nothing really jumps out. Mostly it’s just imposing in it’s wellcraftedness.
Besides just looking rich, Mercedes has filled it with their whole range of comfort increasing technologies. The sound system has the subwoofer mounted in the firewall for extreme resonance. It has a built in perfuming system that will (not even kidding) personalize the smell of the car’s interior. The touch surfaces like the steering wheel or armrests can be cooled or heated and the seats are both infinitely adjustable AND capable of giving a back massage.
Basically, this is as luxury as it gets. Mercedes gets brought up a lot when it comes to sports cars and racing, but where they’ve always excelled with technology. Nothing is quite as cushy as a Benz.
