Renntech Mercedes C63 S AMG Makes Intoxicating Noises

By -

Badass Renntech Mercedes fights through traffic and gives us lots of delicious revving goodness.

Among the many tuners we have to choose from these days, Renntech is one of the oldest and most reputable. And the Florida-based company modifies all sorts of performance/luxury cars these days. But they cut their proverbial teeth on Mercedes, of course. And today, they build some of the fastest and most powerful Mercedes vehicles on the planet. But this 709 hp Renntech Mercedes C63 S AMG isn’t just fast, of course. It’s also quite the intoxicating sound maker.

That much is certainly on display as we tag along for a test drive with YouTuber effeNovanta. Cruising around town, the car is actually relatively quiet and subdued. Which is typically what we like out of our rides, honestly. The high-powered Mercedes seems incredibly tame while sitting in heavy traffic. But that’s a good thing, because our host points out that police are all over the place. Just looking to write some tickets.

Thus, the crew heads for a nearby tunnel to “make some noise.” Once there, the driver unleashes the fury of this 700+ hp Mercedes, and oh boy, was it worth the trip. Between the turbo noise and the crackles and pops of the exhaust, it sounds like pure hell on wheels. And we love every single second of it.

We just hope that the owner doesn’t live in this overly congested city, because that would be a shame. A car as bad as this Renntech Mercedes deserves some long straightaways and curvy mountain roads to truly stretch its legs out on. Anything less is just a pure waste of some serious power. And even worse, noise.
