Detroit Auto Show to Debut S-Class Coupe Night Edition
The Night Edition S-Class Coupe Sees a Special Custom Touch by Designo.
Special editions of cars are, ironically, in no short supply, with offerings from every high-end manufacturer. Designo is the go-to department for Mercedes when someone wants to have something unique among the pack. Set to debut at the Detroit Auto show is this new Designo offering, the Night Edition.
Strictly focusing on appearances, the Night Edition subdues the car’s bright-work with black finishes in various parts of the grille, the side mirrors, and the lower rockers. Furthering the “night” theme, the 20-inch wheels are also finished in black. Interior appointments have a similar treatment, with gloss-black finishes on various trim.
The announcement of the Night Edition comes with absolutely no mention of performance upgrades, but that’s okay, because that’s not the point. AMG wheels are used, but performance will remain where you expect it to be for an S-Class coupe. The Night Edition S-Class coupe becomes the obvious choice for those who simply must have the ultimate in big, luxury coupes.
Designo range also includes offerings for the E-Class, the CLS, SL, and S-Class sedan, as well. Napa leather of the highest quality is used throughout, with very unique and vibrant color choices to choose from.
