These spy shots capture what’s believed to be the new Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV, a sportier coupe-like version of the GLK replacement.

We all know Mercedes-Benz prides themselves on building safe vehicles. Many of the safety technologies found in other cars today were technologies Mercedes pioneered years ago.

The Mercedes GLK was never a bad off-road machine, but when it gets reborn next year as the GLC, it is coming with a few new goodies that make it a truly off-road capable rig.

The Mercedes GLK is dying. In its place we are getting the new GLC-Class. Now don’t be alarmed if you are a fan of the smaller SUV — the name may be disappearing, but the new GLC is the same GLK you have grown to love, just with a new badge on the back.

Those shiny letters on Mercedes-Benz trunk and hatch lids are about to look a lot different. Also, an update on the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
