News out of Germany confirms that Mercedes-Benz will be releasing their Porsche 911 fighter come 2016. We know it as the SLC. Despite having a lot of sporty 2-door models, Mercedes really doesn’t have a dedicated smallish sports car. Tentative pricing rumors slot the SLC between a Carrera S and a 4S.

Photos: Carbuzz The smaller, lighter version of the SLS was caught stretching it’s legs around the Nurburgring. We’ve heard plenty of rumors about the car, but this is the first time we’re getting to see it in the (camouflaged) flesh.
We’ve heard that Mercedes-Benz has secretly been planning work on a front-engined sports car to sit on a spot below the SLS AMG. The secret car will similarly be powered by a V8 engine and now stands to earn plans for development and production after being christened an official codename. With its price to be
