What’s on Your E-Class Options Wish List?

Through our forum, I was surprised to learn the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan lacks two features one would expect in the midsize luxury segment: power-folding side mirrors and rear-door sun shades. Power-folding mirrors are available as an option everywhere except in the United States; the same goes for rear-door sun shades and three-zone climate control. This is a terrible case of American exceptionalism.

NOTE: You can special-order an E-Class sedan with rear-door sun shades, and they are available as an option in the wagon. 

Forum member “VINBENZO” asked the people of the MBWorld forum what options they’d like to see on the E-Class. Our forum fired up quickly with requested features like soft-close doors, a head-up display … even ground-to-air missiles. What types of options would you like to see available on the E-Class?
