The Worst 300SL Ever
Oh the humanity. Oh the horror. Why? Why would anyone let this happen? How could anyone let this happen? This is not how to treat a true classic. I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.
I can’t be the only one screaming at the heavens while viewing the picture above. This, as you may or may not have guessed, is a classic Mercedes 300SL. And I can forgive you if you didn’t immediately recognize it, since this has to be one of the worst examples of a 300SL ever.
The car pictured above was found underneath that banana tree down in Cuba after the photographer heard a legend of a classic 300SL being somewhere on the island. However, I doubt this is what he imagined when he heard the tale.
Cuba’s known for its eclectic car culture due to its import embargoes, but I would not have expected this to be there at all. And now it’s being memorialized forever in Degler‘s Carros de Cuba calendar.
This car just doesn’t deserve this. Please, someone help this car. It needs to live once again.
