That exhaust sounds good. Perhaps I'm interested. haha Especially when you floored it in the tunnel. I was trying to get video of that but didn't have enough time to do so. I should of know we were gonna haul a$$ through the tunnel.

for all of that of course it is getting painted down there. up here is $3-5000 takes 2-3 months the painter is complaining and basically the guy that paints it here came from mexico.
i know people that go to tj for the dentist because a crown is lets say $400 cheaper then it is up here. The dentist they go to was educated at USC lives in Del Mar and drives across the border everyday.
i know of 3 porsches that have been painted at the place i am going to. they also do full leather interiors if you bring the skins.

I also drive a Mazda RX7, that i have had since 1994 (my old baby)...
I have all the work done in Mexico (engine mods, going to have the leather put to 2 tone, tint, etc.)... Even took the 190e, with no problems. Took a ski boat with a buddy, entire new interior (vynl and carpet) done 1 day... 300 hundred USD.
He is right, If you get your car worked on anywhere in San Diego, there is a fair chance that the people working on it are probably from TJ anyways, so May as well go straight to the source for a fraction of the price.
BESIDES!!! it's a good reason to give the g/f to LET ME GO to mexico for a day, eat some Baja Style Taco's, drink a cervesa or two or three or four or five.

Saturday JULY 9th 2pm - ?
eats: there are a couple of local restaurants within walking distance of the Coaster Station. Anyone in Encinitas want to make a suggestion / make reservations ??? ( Carlsbadkmprssr or Justinius7 ) ??? Let's see how many people sign up and confirm they will show up first.
How many people want to stick around for an early dinner ? I do !!!
Activities:
- meet / chat / drool on each other's cars for a while
- Planning on getting one or two local tuners to either bring their MB/AMG cars or at least some marketing / brochures / something.
- Trying to get MB dealerships HOEHN, Escondido & MBSD to come out with something / someone ????
- Invited MB Club of America to come out and set up a booth or something to hype the Club.
- open to any more suggestions, people want to bring a band / music / entertainment / petting zoo / etc....
- of course, PHOTO-SHOOT !
- dinner at 5 PM @ local ENCINITAS restaurant (walking distance).
- watch the train go by (sorry can't think of anything else)
- whatever else you guys want to do that will be fun for the whole group (nothing illegal please) !
caravans: people can set up caravans to ENCINITAS from their local meeting spots, just e-mail or PM someone so that everyone who want's to caravan can meet up early, and get a map or at least know who to follow to show up at ENCINITAS by 2PM.
I will be re-editing the "FLYER" later tonight and re-posting it here. You can cut&paste the URL for the FLYER and post it with your regular posts in other threads / forums if you like.
