wont that parking lot be full as hell by 12pm???? i just read we are meeting at 12pm. when i made the suggestion i figured it was gonna be in the morning. anyone have any better ideas for a HUGE parking lot to meet in?????????

i know the other end of the spectrum right where the 405 and 5 meet is almost ALWAYS empty.

please post back if i am incorrect in asuming that area weill be full.

 

If anything Eric, we can always park all the way in the back of Irvine spectrum where there are hundreds of parking spaces that are never used. Why they are still there remains unknown to me.

 

that is what i was thinking chris. its right where the p-lot meets the 5 and 405. i think its by the construction trailers.

let's get this resolved today if we can. can the caravan organizer be tracked down and confirm where we should meet at the spectrum?????

i am going for sure and would hate to miss everyone.

 

what about where the Lexani meet was.... at the top of the structure at FI..... if there is only going to be like 10 or so cars it should be cool,..... and everyone knows how to get there dotdotdot lol and it wont be crowded.

Irvine Spectrum is closer to me than Fashion Island is.

 

So is the final carvan meeting spot still the Spectrum? If it has changed I need to know because I will be heading the SFV/Glendale caravan.

the jumping off point from oc to sd should be the spectrum. however i think the location in the parking lot may have to be changed due to the fact at 12pm that place is PACKER full of shoppers and movie goers.

 

Well with people throwin out names of different places, it does get a little confusing. I wouldn't want to take a carvan to the wrong location...

 

This is exactly what happened with Lexani. He was so open to changing everything 9 times, who knew what the plan finally was, so most just bailed or got disconnected from the group because they didn't get the latest "update". At least a lesson can be learned from this,

DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING !!

Big deal if a whole 10 cars show up and can't park exactly next to each other, just in the same area. First there will be one person standing there by his car, very obvious as this doesn't happen in most p.lots. Then, another guy will drive up to him and ask if he is going to SD, unless he already knows him, in which case he'll pretend to run him over Then the second guy will park and stand with the other guy, and so on.

Can't you just park where the circled X is on the map, but at the very back of the lot? And what restaurant or store circle x area by?

 

Maybe the people in charge of leading the caravans can exchange cell numbers through PM and keep in touch just in case if we are at opposite ends of the parking lot that we can still find each other without wasting too much time looking for eachother. or if they happen to run 5-10 minutes late due to some unexpected circumstances, that they don't get left behind.

 

just get to the big red x and look for benzoboi's and other caravan leader's car.

 

lisa the lot i suggested is tiny. in fact it is the 1st one to fill up on a weekend. i made the mistake of assuming we were meeting early morn like we did in newport.

the spectrum is HUGE. there are plenty of lots to pic from. what we could do if that lot is full is just place a guy there with a cardboard sign pointing to where there are more spaces available.
