i am gonna drive the g-ride down and get paint i hope that weekend. i may need a lift back to the oc. i just bought a truck today so i can position it in the oc.

Since the meet is in San Diego...
Can we cruise across the Coronado Bridge? It's a really sweet drive over the water...
...
Looks like it's going to be a great turn-out!
And also no meeting in Ralph's parking lots and no meet leaders ditching! lol... :p

Ok so right now I'm finding a printer to get these stickers going... I need some ideas for some logos... I can't draw for poop... we need your help!
Calling all graphic designers and artists to, perhaps, submit some really quick logos or something, if they dont mind of coruse
email me or post it up here cuz I wanna get it started ASAP..
and once we start getting a few of them, i'll make a thread and the people can vote on 'em

anyway, I drive across the Coronado Bridge every day (twice), and unfortunately, unless you're driving a SUV, you won't see much over the water. Coronado Island is very traffic congested, and plus it's another 45 miles south of the ENCINITAS meet. If you guys want to cruise down to Coronado before the meet, that is fine, and then be back up in Encinitas by 2PM.
While this meet is dubbed "San Diego", it is actually up in ENCINITAS.
This was done so that O.C. / L.A. people didn't have to drive all the way down to SAN DIEGO. As for crusing, I would recommend setting up cruises from O.C. or L.A. to the meet itself, or an early run to Coronado and back for those who want to drive the extra distance.

Not a gumball rally... just stickers for people who are traveling FROM the OC/LA area to the MEET.
I think it would be kind've fun to have some sort of 'uniform' look to our cars as we drive down I-5.
Also, the stickers would be cool to have if we were to have a cruise or something afterwards; just a thought, Carlos.

Have already posted 2PM time on all the other MB forums, and too much hassle to change the time.
These are the type of suggestions I was asking for 2-3 weeks ago.
If we want to organize these things correctly, and not having people going 248 different directions and meeting in Ralph's parking lots, prior planning is best.
Those who want to cruise / gumball can go for it. I might join in too, but please either do it before or after the meet. We will be in ENCINITAS at 2PM. Do a photo-shoot and get dinner afterwards at a local restaurant.

i'm thinking the silhouette of an AMG (any AMG) front nose
with the TEXT surrounding it around in a circle. With the MB logo at 9o'clock and the AMG logo at 3o'clock. The TEXT can read: whatever you guys want. I would say something generic so you can use it more than once, everytime we have a SoCal meet. Something like: " Mercedes-Benz / AMG Southern California Meet & Run "

My idea is that if this is printed on some sort of "re-usable" type clingy sticker thing, that would be great. Then we can slap it on the side of the door everytime we have a MB/AMG meet.
