S600 RennTech Dyno'ed @ 742rwtq!!!

I decided to break down and complete the circle and get the S class RennTeched. It's an '03 with sport pkg. I added the RennTech Transmission module and a 100 octane ECU software file. The upgrade was done by my local tuner Dynocomp in Scottsdale

Here's the dynograph:

The RWHP came in at 504.

The baseline stock run is green at 505rwtq & 440rwhp.

The 91 pump gas file is red; it came in at 615rwtq & 483rwhp.

We calculated with a 26.5% loss factor for auto trans and rwd that the flywheel TQ is 937 and the HP is 638.

The car tries to break the rear tires loose if you stomp the gas anywhere lower than 50mph.

It ran a 12.3 bone stock on street tires. I'm taking it to the strip this weekend with some new drag radials. With an extra 140rwtq and 56rwhp, I'm expecting to run in mid 11's. We'll see.

Why 26.5% loss?
I was told by both Kleemann and Renntech to figure 20% to obtain the rough( some losses are fixed) reading at the crank.

Aftermarket exotic tuner told me a while back it was roughly 22.5% loss.

The figure for this particular dyno, Dyno Dynamics, is rated that way. This is what I'm told by Dynocomp.

WOW!! Do you have any local desert highways where you can stretch that bad boy out? You should be able to bump 200 mph easily with that rig....in comfort.

RennTechV12 ,

Increadible dyno. How much did the performance mods cost to get to your 11.43@122? I am contemplating getting a used S600.

Thanks

The S600 only went 11.9@120, not bad for a 5000lb car. The SL600 went 11.43.

The Renntech software runs $6400.
