The sound is awesome. I'm really happy with the mod. I also deleted the resonator, but unfortunately, I don't have any pics of that.

The price for the headers and downpipes is $3K plus about 7 or 8 hours of installation. The price is a little steep, but if you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Kleemann estimates a 7 to 10% increase in hp and torque for an NA car. I don't know if that's at the crank or at the wheels. For the 430 engine that would be approximately 20 to 27 hp, which feels about right. For supercharged engines, Kleemann claims up to 15% gain in power.

The Brembos were on the car for a while, but I was just slow to post the pics. The headers were a recent mod. There is a bunch of things I want to do to the car including a supercharger, but that is down the line. My next mod is installing the JL Audio 10W7 sub and JL Audio 1000 watt amp that are sitting on my floor.

No check engine light has come on. If you look closely at the pics you will notice that the primary O2 sensors plug directly into the headers. The secondary O2 sensors had to be extended and were installed after the cats. Because there is a set of sensors before and after the remaining cats, the computer doesn't know the first set of cats are missing.

E43,

Looks good! Did you do a before and after dyno to see exactly how much of a gain you got? Also what brand cats did you use? Random 100cell race? Have you driven the car with the new headers on and if so how do you like the feel of it?

Thanks! Unfortunately, no dyno runs. I just now found out there is a dyno in the Sarasota area. The cats are actually the stock secondary cats (the first set of cats were removed and replaced with the downpipes). After installing the headers, I drive with the radio off most of the time just to hear the exhaust note. The headers add a great sound to the engine area but they don't do much for the stock muffler out back. The throttle response seems more crisp and the power delivery seems stronger throughout the rev band.

Just my 2 cents but i replaced mine with random race cats and it's amazing. I'm pretty much running the same setup you have on the headers/down pipes as you have and it is amazing. Even better once you get the s/c with all the other stuff.

Will the random race cats give you better power, sound, or both?

Power. I already took out my res and running just straight pipes so the sound is already loud. Note i'm running F/I 55 with the works.

What do the E55 headers look like? Even if there is some turbulence, it is still a big improvement over stock.

E43: could you tell me how much louder is the kleemann header? I'm thinking of installing one on my S430 and don't want to compromise the sound or comfort and torque. I think a slight increase in sound is expected, but i'm trying to find out if its too loud. Did it effect your take off performance in a negative or positive way? Any feed back is greatly appreciated. Thanks
