Is there any 190E 2.5 16V Evolution II in the US?
engine , brakes, suspensions are not supposed to be all amg and original as in evolution II. could be other benz modifiers( kleeman, renntech etc..) however I want the orginal look with the same body kit and rims also interrior.
I am sure many have done this, pls some input
As for the body kit? Since I'm in Malaysia you can get them here but in the US? No idea.
Brakes? I heard that the W124 E500 have similar brakes which is possibly a bolt on job. Not sure about that tho.
Other parts? No idea since the EVO I and II are different engines than the 2.3s and 2.5s. DOn't get confused with EVO engines and the 2.5-16s, they're both different. The EVO engines in stock are rated at 235hp while the normal 2.5-16s are 204 (LHD) and 190 something (RHD)
I've got friends who've got replicas of the EVO II but you need a good body mechanic to work on it because so far the ones I've seen are horrible!
I have checked those online shops before and none sell EVO I or II parts. Not even the 2.5-16vs. They do have the 2.3-16vs parts tho.
I've even heard that if anyones going to buy the strut bar of an EVO, got to order it from a Mercedes dealer with the car number.
I did see an EVO II being to be sold on some online classic car shop BUT it's 200,000 pounds or Euro.
Anyone can afford? I hope I can one day!
With that money, you can get a slightly used CLK-DTM. (Slightly used coz they are sold out, you wont find a brandnew).
Only a damm rich, car collector would pay that much money for a EVo.
under 80K would be more realistic price for a EVO.but still would be hard to sell. Coz at the end its not a daily driver or a performance car of todays standards, a C230 can easly kill you...Its a collection item for me...and only for who can afford to pay a lot and have it sit in the garage most of the times.

Here's a 190E with a V8 engine used to be owned by some engine tuner. It's one UGLY colour and tires tho. So inhumane!! Crime!

Traffic here is like in the UK, cars are all RHD BUT my car's LHD. Therefore faster than the RHD. HEh Heh!!
Can a C230 really kill it? Good point tho. One thing's for sure there are more bigger and powerful engines than this. The EVO II would just be a collector's item yeah. Personally I just love the looks, interior and the cool suspension. Prefer V8s! Now regretting putting in the 2.5 engine! Heh!!
Wished I could've found any of those twin cam V8s from the SLs or an AMG . Always loved those small cars with big V8 engines. Like those old Mustangs and Shelbys. With that money, you can get a slightly used CLK-DTM. (Slightly used coz they are sold out, you wont find a brandnew).
