Oil Leak
I have noticed that there is a leak by the oil cap of my car, my first impression is the oil cap might be messed up or worn out, so i purchased a new one, and a day later the same thing again, there is still a leak of oil coming out from the oil cap... any help??

If that is indeed the trail, as I will trust you can see it where I cant lol. Then I would guess you didn't get a new rubber seal for the new cap. The old one probably fell apart so you bought a new cap and it didn't have one. If that is true, that is your problem. If you have a rubber seal on the cap, I am lost.
If you can, remove the cap and take a picture of where it goes.
Lastly, why does your motor oil look red??

You might want to check your air filter to see if there's more than just a bit of oil in the housing.
If so, it could mean that there's excess pressurization under the valve cover, from either the valves or the crankcase ventilation system. That pressure could be forcing oil past the cap seal.

your head gasket doesnt look the best either thats not the worst repair to do but if the cap still isnt working i would replace the gasket and see if that helps

Yeah I think its the valve cover gasket. Mine leaks as well. Its worst when you are parked facing downhill. If you can park flat or up hill and it wont leak as bad. I tried a can of Restore engine restorer in my 190E 2.6 and for the time being it has worked. Sealed up the leak for the time being.

NO! NO! NO! You can buy the valve cover gasket at www.autohausaz.com for something like $14 shipped and you can DIY in 1 hour working at a leisurely pace.
The $400 sounds like a head gasket job.

so after 10yrs i finally changed the valve cover gasket, and after 10mins of idle it leaked again, this time since everything was nice and cleaned i know its coming from the cap, but that cap is a new one, what I will do next is just get a new cap from MB dealer, could that be the problem??
