something happened with my evo ;-)
follow the link, the interesting part starts at sec. 20.
if you are a good listener you will notice, that the most of the sound comes from the front side of the car not the exhaust....

the reason is this:







its a repro of the original 1989 evolution 1 DTM airintake and slide throttle version with full electronic ignition and injection system (2 nozzles for each cylinder).
the engine has been not modified yet. this will be the next step. up to 8500rpm and about 300hp are estimated once the engine is done....
its the most authentic and unique system you could install on a evo1.

I would like to have dual wider intakes on my w124 and I need some help/ideas.
at the original layout, the airintake and oilcooler is placed, where now only the intake housing/ airfilter is placed. the oilcooler is now installed in front of the evo2 radioator.
here is a picture from the stock layout:

next step is already done, got a set of evo2 con. rods, evo1 cylinderhead, evo1 crank and 2 evo1 blocks. the block needs some work, but all other parts are in a great condition, almost new...
now awaiting a quotation for 39mm intake valves with 6mm stems and electro hydraulic intake cam adjuster, also dtm style. to improve low and midrange torque in the new engine...

front 334mm sl600 discs with porsche 993 turbo style calipers
rear porsche 993 turbo 299mm discs with adapters and porsche turbo calipers
system is adapted by movit to fit the benz. this is why the calipers are repainted and labled with the movit emblem...
