Congrats @DonDraperdfw. You've bought yourself one of the best and lowest mileage EVO is I've seen offered at an online auction. Imho, this is a keep beyond eternity car. Please keep us posted on your ownership experience. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions. We'll help you all we can. I'm glad I was able to provide you with a small bit of help with your purchase. Bring your EVO I to an MBCA concours or cars and coffee and you'll get a lot of attention for sure. My personal parts sources are the MB Classic Center and Adsitco. They seem to have most of what I've needed for my far more mortal W201.. Again, many congrats!

The EVO IIs that sell for $400,000+ are ultra low mileage and in concours condition. The EVO II that recently sold at either BAT or the MB Market was also in rough condition and I don't remember that that one even made $200,000. The rougher ones with higher mileages sell for less. Your EVO I is one of the best ones that I've seen so you got a really good one for sure.

is it possible to get more photos of the underside of car such as rear subframe, trans, engine, front suspension? is it a amg power pack equipped?

First thing was to see if everything works….buttons, accessories. So far everything is working. Few issues
1. Suspension drops when car is sitting and rises up to normal ride height after a few minutes of the car running. This is when the SLS switch is in the middle position. Not sure if this is normal behavior.
2. Low coolant light was on. Put half a gallon in there to the fill line. Saw some of it dripping to the floor. Need to see if this is a confirmed coolant leak or not.
These are the observations so far….have only had it 24 hours. More to come.
