Looking at your car, I have 2 questions

1. Where did you get headlights from and how much? Was it easy plug and play (like the LED tail lights) or did you have to do some SAM programming to get it to work?

2. On the rear bumper (I recently bought the same), did you paint silver color on the middle portion or is it something else? If you can post a close up of that rear bumper, would appreciate it.

Great effort again, Cheers!
1. www.mbscashopen.com Needed cable kit makes it plug n play but still needs to program the new ECU units sitting on the lights. Instructions included.
2. I painted it classic 744 silvermetallic. I though it woul be better and show more than if it was black like the rest of the car.

The silver trim on black is simply the best finish combination and makes the car stand out even more!

Post more pictures...

Question though: I take it you have to order a new number plate holder as the old one does not fit the new S65 bumper shape hence why you have it sitting on your dash board?

That is corect in one way yes. But what I am waithing for is a new number plate without the blue Euro flag on it.

It is a bit smaller without it and I HATE number plates in the front and want it as small as I can get leagelly.

Any special pics you want..Dont know what more to show?

Could you post closeups of the rear bumper, another with the Silver defuser, front and rear rotors and also if possible a closeup of how you attached the AMG tail tips to the rear end exhaust pipes!

Is that a Special Edition badge on the front fenders?

More pictures perhaps of the car now in clear day (Sun) light to see it in its entire glory

I have received most of the kit you've supplied so will start my own upgrade soon...

Question about your supplied lighting kit and the S65 DRL's as to how they exactly work ?

Do the S65 kit DRL's wired up with the Magic box kit or separately if so how?
Do the DRL’s switch on during the day automatically or do you have to manually turn them on?
Does the lighting dial controller in the car play any part in the functionality of the new lighting apart from switching headlamps on or set to auto when using the new magic box kit?
Do the old fog lamps have to be disabled in “Star” or do they play any part with the Magic box kit?
Finally on the instrument cluster in the dashboard you can set the current method to have your “day time headlights” set to on, does this function work with your “magic box kit” to switch on the headlamps constantly or is this now linked to the DRL lights function?

I’m preparing for my conversion project hence all my questions concerning the lighting functionality (wiring/coding) having seem you’re successfully completed project using the above kit, can you give us more details as to how the lighting connectivity all works as per questions asked above!

Cheers

Rear Spolier Color Combination?

Chris

On the photo below, does the spolier under rear bumper number have original grey color on upper piece and silver on lower piece or did you paint black and silver?

I cannot tell from the photo below - if you can post a close up of rear, that will be great?

Not exactly - you said you used silver metallic for the bottom portion of the spoiler but I want to know color of the piece just above that silver part. Is that the unpainted grey color or did you paint it black. That part is not clear from photos.

I guess am not able to clearly explain this - if you can post a close up photo of your rear bumper - that will answer all my questions

Thanks.

As I have the same kit and getting it sprayed up I believe I may answer that question for you as it comes unpainted in a finished black/grey charcoal finish... You can't really tell from the picture but I would guess he has left it unpainted but a rear end picture would clear this up.

He didn't leave it unpainted. It was sprayed silver because he wanted to show, and having it black would just blend in?

On a similar topic, has anyone done the AMG programming? Would that just be a Stardiag thing?
