If you're referring to a charger to keep the battery from dying and to maintain its overall life you should look into getting a battery tender. You hook it up and basically forget about it until you're ready to drive next. It will keep the battery charged, but won't harm it meanwhile; most dealerships use them on brand new cars that won't get driven much, if at all, until they are sold. A local auto store may have them and they are common online.
