I will be listening to one of the cds in my 6 disc factory changer. But when i start up the car the next time It just auto starts on cd1. That is really annoying, i have the starmark warranty, but that does not cover the audio system. Is there something that i am missing?

A) It remembers the presets, and/or
B) If you set the station to 99.9, after restarting the car the station remains 99.9

When I put a magazine of CDs back into the changer it sometimes starts at CD1/Track1 for a few starts, but it eventually starts on the last CD/Track. Don't know why, but it seems to be an issue w/ our changers...

Try running a CD cleaning kit though it - perhaps you have a dirty laser pickup.

If you change to another audio function (sat, radio, aux) and then go back to the changer or switch the ignition off and then on, it should recognize the CD and the place on the CD where you left off, unless of course you have taken the cartridge out and then put it back in, when it will start again at CD 1, track 1.

I agree.
