When you press the CD button, the radio displays a message saying "NO CD CHANGER." This will happen until you shut the car off and restart it.
WHY?!?!?!?

Happens to me once in a while. Usually works after restarting engine. Occasionally, I have to take the 6-disk cassette out from the changer and re-install it before the changer works again. Original MB changer installed by dealer during delivery. Good luck.

Hi guys,
If that happens "no CD changer" try the following:
a) turn off Comand or Radio and turn it on again
b) if the problem is still not fixed, try turning off ignition, wait a bit (about 10 secs) and turn it on again

Happens in my E430 also. Rarely phone does this also. Restarting the car seems to fix it.
Has anyone else noticed that if you load a new CD in the cartridge when the car is not running it does not always register with the CD system?

My car had the same problem; occasionally CD-changer or the phone won't work. After the dealer replaced the PSE module in the rear left tire area everything is fine now. I don't get the random no phone or CD messages anymore.

Does anyone know what the part number is for a PSE module for a clk430 w208?
Hi,
Does anyone know what the part number is for a PSE module for a clk430 w208? Dealer says the part is $450. Anywhere else to get this part at a better price?
thanks
