Re: Watch Dvd Movies On Your Factory Nav Screen
does this include the factory Nav system? or just to retrofit the nav to accept input for DVD/Tv/etc...
Cause, its cheaper to just throw in a Euro Nav in that case. Steve can do it for $1200 (comand + Install), and do the TV Tuner for another $300

The price on COMAND depends on what model gets it.
The A/V adapter is NOT A TV TUNER! NO IT WILL NOT GET TV! And it doesn't matter, because the TV Tuner will not tune European stations from as far away as the USA.
Thanks!

(p.s. that place in Brooklyn does it for only $1200, anyhow.)

people people.....
ok Steve will install a EURO COMAND unit for $xxxx - this includes the actual COMAND unit/pro installation/GPS antenna.
for an additional $200, there's a RGB plug that plugs right into the back of the unit. Just hook up ANY dvd player with the RCA jacks, hit the TV button and you're in business....
I've seen ac/dc dvd players all over ebay for $89 that will play any region any format.
also - there's DVD players out there with TV tuners built-in....problem is...where to mount ?? no room in glove box with CD changer in there !!!!
approx dims 8.5" x 6.5" x 2" ...will NOT fit next to it.

Please don't quote prices, as they're not set yet. Also, the price you quoted was for ONE MODEL of car. Other models may incur additional charges, or be cheaper.
Let's wait for Steve's announcement, or mail him directly.

wow...5k...I need to adjust my prices...
Information about comands can be found in this THREAD .
The price for an installed USED euro comand is 1300USD (all models except for the 202 and the 210 wood panel is not included). I have several OEM MB TV tuners (new) but don't think they will help at all in the states...RGB connectors make it possible to connect a DVD, PSII, video or camera and cost approx 250USD IF available (the 1 company that sells those connectors for that price ran out of connectors and still have them in back order at the moment) or 400+USD from another suplier.
greetingz,

Hi Steve, I emailed you but havent received a reply yet so I will post here.
I was basically inquiring if you had the RGB Connectors but you just mentioned that the supplier is out of it. The next question is the OEM MB TV Tuners (new) that you mentioned. Is this the latest MB TV Tuner that MB makes, I think it should have the gold connectors. If so, I believe they should work for all regions including the US. How much are you selling these tuners, if they are the "universal" tuners? Thank you...

Steve is working out the TV Tuner issue right now, so if you've not received a reply, please be patient. It may be a couple weeks as we need to run a test in the USA.
I believe Steve is keeping all e-mail addresses so he can reply to the massive amounts of e-mail he receives.
If you see more information posted here, and haven't received a reply, please try mailing again because e-mail isn't yet an exact science.
thanks,
