Can someone please help me . . . I've been searching all the forums for the OEM Sirius part number for my '05 E500 wagon (w/command) and can't find it in any of the posts. I would like to pick up a used unit but have had no luck in obtaining the part number for this car; dealer's here in NY seem to share a secret oath of silence about disclosing this info!

I have all the part numbers somewhere. I will send them to you if I can find them on my laptop. I warn you, though. If you're not pre-wired for it, it's gonna cost $$$$. I never did it on my 2006 e55. The total was around $1400.

That would be awesome, thanks! I wanted to make sure so I pulled the rhs panel located in the rear, removed the Harmon Kardon sub and there she was - pre-wired and ready to go. Thanks again, especially for answering so quickly... I'll keep a look out for your email with the data.

you need a B6 783 0085 which I have for sale. ($300) The expensive part is the factory antenna. You can use a generic Sirius antenna Like this one. The wiring is already there, same for the most fibers. after you install it you will need to have the Audio Gateway STAR Coded to "SDAR Present"

Just find a good place to hide the antenna, but still get good reception. You don't want an ugly wart on your car.

After you install the SDAR I would like to know if you experiance the 35 channel Sirius dropout problem that most other SDARs prior to '09 seem to be afflicted with. If you don't know which Sirius channels are affected let me know, they are posted on the other MB board. Geof
