Motorola UHi Phone Cradle Part Number Wanted
New i/x/s cradle kit for C, SLK, and SL (Short cord) Q 6 82 0894
New i/x/s cradle kit for CLK, M and G (Long cord) Q 6 82 0896
New i/x/s cradle kit for E Q 6 82 0898
New i/x/s cradle kit for S and CL Q 6 82 0900
Whats the difference to the old cradle? It perfectly fits all V60 phones. I wonder, is the cable set up different?
If anybody has this cradle, please contact me.
-Mik
Only the V60s has a different case, since its in fact a modified V60p (my wild guess is that Verizon didn't sell as many V60p as they had hoped for). It has a speaker and is therefore a little bigger. But it fits fine in the old cradle when you take out the battery insert.
Now for the UHI, don't you need a phone adaptor rather than a cradle?

Also they now have the Sony Ericsson T610, Partnumber B6-787-5830. The 6310 is B6-787-5822
Cost is 140 Euros + VAT, which sounds a little expensive, I'll check at other places.
The UHI PSE for MOST is 211-820-1485 and costs 230 Euros + VAT.
They also said that they offically don't support retrofitting the UHI as of now, but they have done it inofficially

You're going to have to chuck the Motorola Phone kit out the window. Totally. The PSE will have to be replaced with the new UHI and the cradle with adapter will have to be changed. I believe mik said the UHI supports teh v400 adn v600 so these phones are quad band and this would solve your problem!

how can the adapter be the same for the v60, v525, v600. They are physically different in size. The v525, v400, v600 are the same but v60 is different. Can you clarify this? And Randy, if you need help with the UHi parts let me know. I have the Parts catalogue for your car as well.

Thanks,
Randy
I have had nothing but problems with my v60 in my 2004 e55, and the dealer has agreed to take it out and refund the cost. Now comes the hard part. I want to integrate a replacement phone into the Comand, and it looks like the UHI interface may be the way to go. The v600 is not available in Canada yet, but will be shortly. Any information about part numbers, etc. for the UHI interface and v600 cradle will be most appreciated. Thanks, guys
Greg
But if you are getting the money back, using it for the UHI would be the way to go since you won't have to worry about changing handsets in the future
