In April of this year I purchased a ECU/TCU tune from Speedriven for my 2007 S600 for $1,240. I shipped my ECU/TCU to them and got them back a few days later. After installing in my car, my car had numerous faults and was stuck in "limp home mode (2nd gear)". Aleks told me to ship the TCU back and they would put the stock file back on and within a few weeks they would hopefully have a fix. They did this and once again I was back to stock and my car worked just like before. It took a few emails from me and a little over 1 month later they claimed to have figured out the issue and asked me to re-send them my ECU/TCU to try the tune again. Only problem is that they expected me to pay for shipping. So instead I asked for a refund, which I was told earlier they would happily provide. But when I asked for the refund, all of a sudden Marcin starts a new policy that they need to flash my ECU back to stock before a refund can be issued. I was more than willing to send them my ECU to flash back to stock (even though the ECU was already at stock, I saw 0 performance improvements) but I asked them to pay for shipping. After all I had already paid for shipping and had they not screwed up the tune, additional shipping would not be necessary. But Aleks and Marcin refused without giving any explanation and stopped all communications. So they've taken my $1,240, plus $120 in shipping costs and given me nothing in return.
Go with a reputable company like Renntech or Brabus. I've learned my lesson!

If you paid with Credit Card, do a dispute.

Yea Visa only gives you 90 days from the date of the original charge. I filed a fraud claim though and will file a law suit if that fails even though I'll spend 5 times the amount in legal fee's. Such unethical behavior needs to be stopped.

Did you try calling Marcin ? Aleks is no longer with SpeedRiven and the issue you are having might be because Aleks is not there and Marcin does not have access to SpeedRiven e-mail.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I got in touch with Marcin and he is taking care of the issue. He was not aware of my situation as I was communicating with Aleks who is no longer at the company. Marcin was extremely knowledgable about our cars and very helpful. Thanks Marcin!

Aleks completely flaked out on me too, but Marcin has been great. I had headers installed by marcin and was having a few other things ordered by Aleks, but never heard back from Aleks.

Marcin is super busy working on cars and if you've ever seen his shop, he is the farthest distance from the phone so would never get there in time to pick it up.

Can you send me Marcin's email as well? I still need to know if he got my lights and I wanted a oil catch can installed.
