Amay (amaycg) graciously provided me with the .pdf of the 2012 ordering guide.
Please see attached (I had to split the .pdf into 5 docs b/c the attachments here are limited to 1MB).
Thanks again, Amay!

2012 C350 Sport - Iridium Silver w/Ash
A fairly loaded E350? What options? I was looking and for the options I want on the E350, it still came out to be $55k below invoice. Plus, the 350 engine gets a lot more power for 2012.
I just priced out the options for the car and it looks like I picked out $10k worth of options. I doubt the coupe's base price will come in at above $38k.

That's what makes it a tough decision between the C-350 and the E. A loaded C-350 comes in at around $44k.

Some of the items listed are supposedly standard on the C350 -- as part of the Premium 1 Package(e.g., Harmon Kardon, driver seat memory, SIRIUS, iPod interface, split folding rear seats, etc.) If you want to sit on leather instead of plastic, that's #318, which includes power/memory front passenger seat. These ordering guides are a moving target at this point.

Dealer changed my order from multimedia package to S32 COMAND Launch with Rearview camera separately, and changed it back to multimedia package last week saying the computer automatically changed it. Still, the Multimedia package is not available for july production according to Dealer Ordering Guide as of June 30, 2011. My car goes into production on July 22nd according to dealer. I wonder if the car is going to come with multimedia, Launch package, or launch package +rearview camera. Anyone have any idea? Dealer said they can't make any changes to the order; its too late.

I changed my order around b/c upon further thought I didn't want to pay $1515 just for Diamond white ($720 metallic fee and an additional $795 for diamond white). So now it's back to Arctic White. The final configuration is as follows:
650 Arctic White
121 Black MB tex
P01 P1: Premium 1
SPC Special Order
S32 Command Launch Package
218 Dynamic Rear View Monitor
230 Parking Guidance
315 *Dynamic Handling Package(Special Order)
319 Lighting Package
359 Mbrace
739 Aluminum Trim
820 Factory Delivery
889 Keyless Go
993 Lane Tracking Package
I still have no price. I know how much my options came out to be, but I'm assuming that the base price of the C250 coupe will be approximately $38k.

I also have a c350 coupe, mars red, on order. The US models do not have the same options that the UK cars do. Options like the cd changer, ventilated seats and speed limit sign detection, afaik, aren't available on the US models, sadly.
I've recently been fighting with myself over whether I should get a e350 coupe, which has many more features and better materials, but the e is just too big of a car for me. But with the options I chose for the c350 the two cars are only 2-3k apart.
My dealer told me the options aren't final, especially since the car isn't officially on sale yet, and are bound to change. That I will have to wait and see what the final options are before she sends the car to be built. I was told to expect delivery in late august early september.

Still going back and forth on it, but I notice this morning in the paper the 2011 C-class' incentives are boosted and great deals are available. I hadn't previously considered leasing but they have a c-300 with p1, etc, for $359/mo 33 months 10k/yer with full maintenance included. That's basically $12k to drive the car for almost three years! And that's before incentives.

Online is still saying $1500 but the newpaper said $4k. I believe that's the conquest incentive but there are more. Fleet incentive (if you work for the right company) was $1500 a couple of months ago. Do a little reading on these forums and you'll get up to speed on what's generally available.

Why isn't the online configurator up yet? From most accounts the car is about 1-1 1/2 months away from going on sale officially, and yet it's options and specs for the US market aren't available on their website. I've read in an article that their target market for this car is Europe & the UK, which would explain why it debuted there first, but why is it taking so long to finalize options and delivery dates for this car?
As my dealer said 'Now would be the time that you want customers to see the car online and start putting in their orders'

since mine is Euro Delivery, I'm only allowed to pick it up on Sept. 15 or later. the order has been placed and finalized, but I still haven't received the official pricing from my dealer.
we know as much as the dealers at this point.

If your taking UK delivery did you also get to order your car with UK specs? Or did you have to order it with US specs? The UK package has an options for a 'Lighting Package' that is ambient lighting on this inside and leds lights under the side mirrors. Do you know if this option is available in the US vehicles? The US cars, at my dealers configurator, have a lighting package option, but that's for the xenon headlamps and active curve illumination.

I have no clue about the ambient lighting package. I would hope that it is standard on the US models.

Somehow mine from last week, they switched the spec on an existing order that's about to start building to mine (they showed me how it's highlighted "yellow" in the order system), and they still say expect delivery at end of Oct.

got an update from my dealer. The 2012 C Coupes ordedred with Xenon Light package have been delayed by atleast 4 weeks. Im thinking of canceling the Xenon lights package to get the car sooner because I really need it. When do you guys think the aftermarket Xenons will be available and will it be possible to install them?

Xenons should be standard on this car because the front of the car really relies on those projector and LED lights.
But 4 weeks for just lights??? uughhh i dont know.

I just got my production date. Sept. 5. Picking up the car in Stuttgart on Sept. 15.
the lights are DEFINITELY worth it.
He said if i take off the Xenon Lights package I will get my car up to 4 weeks earlier. So i'm assuming its on schedule.
