Color Question--- Looking for Opinions!
Hey all!
I current have a BMW 335i coupe and will be in the market for a new car within the next few months. I really love the C-coupe so I think that's where I'm heading (planning on testing the 250 and 350 to feel out the difference... but atm I'm leaning towards lower engine for higher fuel economy and more room for options).
I 100% want the red leather interior so I need to find an exterior paint choice to match. I was thinking black or palladium silver, but Dr Nab sent me a picture of a lunar blue one and I loved it. How do you guys think that would look? What color would you do?
I appreciate all the feedback!

My personal choice would be black exterior. There is a guy on the E coupe forum who has the red interior with black exterior...has a bunch of pictures also take a look. I currently have a black E coupe with almond interior and a black Infiniti G35 coupe. Yes they are more work...but with the proper products and some detailing knowledge it's not all that bad.

i have seen Palladium silver + red interior! it's very very nice!! i wanted to get this combo, unfortunately my sales told me that would require another 3 months....
i didn't want to wait that long, so i chose palladium + black interior .

I wanted the black + red or blue with ?? myself, blue and red seats don't work IMHO but the black/silver + red looks so damn good, i'm waiting the 3 months to get it.
I've never owned a black car before and keep hearing about the hard to clean and now the thought about swirl marks, eek, ahh well hopefully it's not as bad as everyone seems to say, i'm committed now!
I think blue external + the white (ash) may work well though, it contrasts well with the black and brushed metal interior trim. Not a fan of the beige, never have been, reason I couldn't get a Prius 4 years ago, beige city!
Go to http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicl...50C#appearance and go to interior view play around, you get a feel for it...

My silver CLK320 is clean most times and well-maintained by Meguaires detailing products. It is full of swirls but they do not show. I can see them only under certain lights and at a certain angle.
I tried Meguiars SwirlX as well as Ultimate Compund (strongest in their consumer line). It worked but it took a lot of efforts for a small area. To remove them completely, I would have to buy DA (Dual Action Polisher) and spend hours on the car. Problem is the swirls will come back again and again.

Thanks for the feedback! I have a black car now and it's not a problem to keep clean but I don't like the swirl marks either. When I was driving home I saw the new CLS in lunar blue and the color was so gorgeous it is making me reconsider. I'm between the black/grey + red or lunar blue + ash. Does anyone know if the ash leather is gray or more white? Can't tell from the configurator pictures. Thanks!

So true! My current car has a red interior and it's honestly the only reason I'm considering the C-coupe.. happen to really like it in addition though haha. I've never seen Palladium in real life but it sounds good. How would grey rims look with that combo?

I would have loved the red interior but just as u said went with the smaller engine and red int. Isnt available on the 250. I got mine in magnetite black metallic. Its brilliant in my opinion. Its black but not the boring old black that everyone else has. Its kinda like the black on a matte black but its not matte its got the metallic shine.
