Thanks to all, I just ordered the w5w 5k parking lights from azn optics, and philips crystal vision ultra low beams. I have had hid kits before in audis without the projection and although it looks cool, it does shoot weird patterns all over the road. This should be a nice clean, stock look. Thx again.

from benz world...people are liking this setup:

I replaced my headlight bulbs with Philips Crystal Vision Ultra and I like it a lot better than the OEM bulbs. I haven't tried the PIAA Xtreme White so I can't comment on this and the Sylvania Silvertar is not much better than the OEM. Try the Philips Crystal Vision Ultra and you're gonna like them. The OEMs are 3400K and the Crystal Vision Ultras are 4000K. The attached photo shows you the difference between the OEM (passenger side) and the Crystal Vision (driver side).

I just installed the crystal vision ultras in my white 2012 C300 too
They are a very nice upgrade - any whiter and you will lose light output, so they really are as good as it gets with halogens.

I think it is important to point out that the front marker lights (aka City lights - W5W Wedge bulbs) are the biggest culprit. They have a very nasty yellow light output. Replace them with the AZN Optics 5000k wedge bulbs - they are a PERFECT match to the factory LED DRL Strips. I think Mercedes chose these ugly yellow bulbs to push people into buying the lighting package. Or maybe just because they have under-driven filaments for good longitivtiy. Who knows.

So for the city lights up front, how do you remove them?

Do you just pull, or twist, or is there tab to unlock?
I'm stumped and i don't want to break any stupid little plastic pieces!

Thanks.

Any tips on installing the parking lights? I can't seem to get my hand/fingers in position. Also, is it a twist off or pull out?

I bought the parking lights from AZN optics and every time I hit the unlock button, I swear that was the best $19 I ever spent. Now if only the headlights, high beams and puddle lights matched...

Yes any tips on that before I "accidentally" pull those wires out too hard.

Socket pulls right out. Pressure held and rotates freely. Do not grip by the wires no matter how tempting as you risk stripping them. If you can't get a good grip, angled needle nose pliers help.

Did you have any luck getting the parking lights out? Any trick to this? I had a needle nose pliers gripped onto the orange clips fairly hard but couldn't get any movement. Twist or pull?
