Ash MB-TEX
Does anyone have any photos of their C class with the Ash MB-Tex? I was planning on getting the red leather (full leather seating package upgrade), however, I was incredibly impressed by the Black MB-Tex that was in the car I test drove this afternoon. I'm curious how the gray Ash looks...

Sorry no pic but if you want an opinion: I have one with Ash interior and it looks pretty good. It's a whitish gray with the top of the dash black and bottom portion ash. This also applies to the seats with the top ash and back part black.
I originally wanted black because of the white stitching, but I'm not disappointed with ash at all plus it's not as hot as black in the summer where it can hit 95+ degrees in California. I have a carpool buddy that drives in black leather and it sucks when it's hot because the black retains all that heat.
If you don't care about the heat, go with the black though because it does look more classy than the ash. But you have to see it in person because pictures don't do justice.

Thank you so much for the response. I'm trying to go as sporty as possible (which is why I originally was set on the red) but now this MB-Tex product seems too good to be true (and its free!)
The pictures from the link you sent, as well as others, make the Ash appear extremely light, not really gray. They look kind of creamy?

I've seen it live... I think the MB-Tex version is too white and will dirty real fast!
Here's the same color (but in leather) in the sport sedan... the Tex is a little cheap looking for my taste... maybe it will look and feel better in real leather but it too will get dirty real fast.... get the RED!

Thank you for the 360 view feature... VERY helpful! I actually like how it looks more white---could be a nice contrast with a black exterior.
However I feel like I should probably stick with my gut and go with the red!

I acutually thought the red was good too, because it's more of a dark red than bright.

Damn Kevin... you have me TORN! I'm seriously loving the white'ish gray... would look great with any black/grey/silver/or even lunar blue! It looks gorgeous but I'm wondering if it will end up getting dirty?

If you like the pics then you will love it in person. I think it will get dirty, but hey it's synthetic leather so it should wipe off. Definitely go to the dealer and take a look at the ash and red.

True... I just want it to be sporty so it seems unique/modern/fresh. But I REALLY like yours. My dealer unfortunately doesn't have a car with either interior color options. Do they have samples that I can check out?

They have none :/ hopefully I can get some sort of sample. I'm going to most likely go black exterior then either the red or the ash inside. Thank you VERY much for posting the pictures for me (and so quickly) they have been a huge help!

Or the black.. that is what I saw today and it looked fantastic (what got me thinking that MB-Tex was perhaps worth ditching the 1750 leather upgrade.) Thanks again

Dude you are confusing me! I cancelled out the Ash in my mind now I'm back from those pics! I responded to your other post but I'm from Orlando-area as well but willing to go anywhere for the best lease deal. What did yours end up being since you shopped all the way to Ft. Meyers!?

I wouldn't waste much time at either MB of Orlando or MB of South Orlando. They both were like a brick wall with me. MB of Fort Myers' opening offer smoked both of theirs big time, along with everyone else's. I ended up selling my previous car at Carmax on Semoran and then I took the Lynx bus 2 miles down the road to the airport and flew to Ft. Myers on Southwest for around $50

Wow that is interesting. I've heard terrible things about MB South FL but I'm going back tomorrow afternoon to see what they have to say. Definitely PM me the guy from Fort Myers I will tell him you told me to talk to him to get a good deal :]

The two tone interiors look fabulous & the ash is special IMHO.
My previous car had a light interior & here is an 8 year old SA leather seat. Not difficult to keep clean. Wipe with a detergent cloth every couple of months & apply Maquiar's rich leather cream once a year.

That's what I find so fascinating about the MB-Tex. Your seats literally look brand new (no wrinkling, marks, indents, etc.) after years.
Since my car is a lease I don't necessarily need to worry about making sure the leather stays perfect since it's only mine for 24 months. Interestingly enough my sales guy recommended the MB-tex for buying because it really will stand up against time. When I go back today I'm hoping I can get/see samples of the red leather, black MB-tex, and Ash MB-tex. Looks great!
