i really like the end result of these wheels on a c coupe... retaining the oem clean look but with a subtle upgrade.

I dont get what you mean by machined dow to 50mm? Do you want a more aggressive set up, then your going backwards then. Sorry im confused.
I do have to admit the S63 rims do suit the car very much.
Are there pics of the car with them rims at ride height???

Unlike most of the people on the forum, I am a fan of slammed cars. I think this looks nice. Even though I am still not a fan of the face lifted C-Class or coupe.
Getting mine set up installed by StanceLab as well except I have a pre-face lifted sedan. Can't wait for it to come in!

~ yep... thanks for the advanced reply.
if you look closely at the pic below the rims edge is extended past the tires side wall ...
(the rim is hanging off/outside the tires edge)... this is because the offset is incorrect.
a 50mm offset on the rear rim keeps the rim inside/aligned with the wheel well and can have the tire fit correctly with the appropriate sidewall.

The offset is pretty proper for this car. The only/main reason I stretched the rear tires is to achieve this look. If I didn't want to slam my car, it would be unnecessary to stretch the tires. The wheel and tire will never reach that high into the wheel well.
If you run +50 offset on a 9.5 wheel in the rear, you will have good fitment but can also run +45 and not have an issue as well

He means machine down the back of the wheel hub which increases the offset UP. He doesn't want to go more aggressive than it already it is for him.

Im just so accustome to people going the other way.. machining down to get a more aggressive set up not the other way around. Each to their own I guess, but why dont you just start off with a wheel that has a +55 offset already, plenty out there rather then going to the trouble of machining down???
I think its pretty evident that his going for a stretched tyre look, not so much "incorrect" offset lol

Some pictures from about 2-3 months ago. I may have went a little too aggressive though. Ran into a mishap when my brother borrowed my car and ran into a big pothole. Rear driver side fender lip got mangled a little.
Sorry for hijacking the thread. I know this is about the coupe and all

From what i can see, you've stetched the tyres, dialed in the camber and i assumed you rolled and lipped the fenders. Anything else?

One awesome thing about the Airrex wireless air management is the remote. It is charged through a USB cable and comes with an A/C to USB adapter, but luckily for us, we have an USB port in our center console. Nice compartment to safety hide and charge the remote

Looks good with 20s. Wonder how low mine will be with 18s
Initially I was going to get the whole AirRex package (suspension and management) but after seeing Accuair, I knew that was the system I was going to run.
