Funny smell after driving - New Car
I just drove the car back from the dealer yeaterday and did another trip today. All up I have 60kms on the C250.
I noticed after coming home from the dealer yesterday and after returning from a drive today that there was a slight burning smell. Nothing strong, just faint.
I'm guessing this is because the car is brand new?
Two questions:
1. Do you guys get this as well up to a certain number of kms/miles while the car is new?
2. is this something I should worry about?
Thanks in advance
im not sure if you noticed, but, our front fenders, on both sides get extreme ****ing hot, like, you cant even put your hands on it, i have no idea if this is intended or if anyone else has noticed this, but after your car is running for about 45 min, rest your hand on either one of the fenders.

My front fenders don't get hot at all. Just got back from a 2 hour drive and the fenders were very slightly warm but definitely not hot.
Are the hot fenders a common issue?

An obvious fault would be more noticeable than faint wearing in smells.
Usually it'll be new painted surfaces heated up wearing in and giving off smells, it's also caused by new rubber pipes, some metal exhaust parts etc. running in from being initially heated up.
All of the new cars I've ever had across many different brands over many years have always had that trait
One you can count out is a large water puddle if you'd been using the airconditioner before hand
