What DON'T you like about your new coupe??
it made me go duh when I saw how easy it is
These comments are all interesting and what not, but the majority of them are superficial. Sure the whistle from wind over the mirrors is annoying, but it is present in almost all mercedes cars. Complaints about electric seats? Why not just order the full electric seats to start with. Pano roof annoying you? Why order it in the first place?
If you test drive a car you are supposed to test it...IE identify the things you like and the things you don't like. No point in complaining about things afterward.
Dealer has been unable to repair. Latest issue was engine stumbling under hard acceleration and check engine light came on. Dealer updated ECU. We have now initiated the MB Buy Back for problematic vehicles.

As for whistle wind noises over the mirrors - what whistle wind noises
have never had that on mine even driving at up to very high speeds.Apologies for pointing out good not negative things

Is this program where certified preowned came from later?
No kidding, I feel your pain.

Other than that, loving my C350!!
- Seat belt warning , I want to jump off a cliff head first every morning.
- always on comfort mode unless switched to sport. I want it backwards .
- anti glare mirrors + window tint = can't see ****.
- slow downshift after braking.. I mean really? That's embarrassing. .
Likes
- Handling is what I expected for this class coupe, even in sport mode.
- Interior on the sport package feels quite premium, coming from a 2014 GTI in my case.
- Fit and finish, with all of the packages I have (all except DISTRONIC and Lighted Door Sills), is excellent, and again what I expect for a car in this class.
Dislikes
- Perforated sun shared - wish it was solid.
- Ventilated seats with the sport package would have been nice.
- Lack of folding mirrors. It's a MY2014, so many cars come standard with folding mirrors these days.
- Engage sport mode on each startup without having to manually switch.
- Two more inches of rear legroom! Just two. And an inch or two of seat height for slightly larger passengers.
- No electronic parking brake? Seriously?
- Reverse backup camera is as bad as one I saw on a new Honda Fit. Almost useless. Why can't we have a real camera that shows guidelines?
- Door pins? WTF for?
None of these are deal breakers at all. I also don't have whistling noise problems that others complain about. I'm going to look at upgrading the backup camera at some point as well. Coming from a 2014 GTI Wolfsburg edition, this is a massive upgrade for me, so while I'm in the honeymoon phase, nothing is bothering me, though over time maybe I'll update this thread with more. Honestly, the backup camera is the only thing that's worth looking into changing out, and the door pins.
Initially, I nearly caused an accident with an inadvertent shifter nudge (engine compression braking almost got me a closely following Regional Transit bus deep into my trunk).............
Then there was my memory lapse on parking brake release (my formed Asian coupe e-brake was next to the 6M transmission shifter)........................
The adaptive transmission "learning me" feature proved interesting...........................
(My last automatic was a Ford convertible - senior year San Jose State during stone age)
It's now without flaw - I actually feel guilty driving this beautiful (Iridium/Ash) little coupe.

For the most part the car was great, the dealer not so much.
After a lot of soul searching I just couldn't put myself into another. Life is too short to deal with *****ty service. There is another MB dealer where I live but after talking to a few folks they are apparently no better.
*Styling: a great looking car inside and out
*Interior quality fit and finish
*Well equipped (compared to my previuos car, a very spartan BMW 325Ci)
Dislike:
*Transmission sucks: slow on downshifts
*Some turbo-lag, which wouldn't be so bad but the transmission makes it more noticeable
* SRS malfunction warning a recurrent problem
2. Lack of performance mods for the C350.
3. Lack of shops willing to fabricate anything for the C350, even when I have made it clear that price is not an issue.
4. Lack of power folding mirrors on the American C350.
5. That whistling sound you get with a strong crosswind with the windows down, and going over 60 mph.
6. With these issues, I do remind myself that it is an entry level vehicle, and still the nicest car this lowly navy E-5 has ever owned.
