2013 C250 Coupe
Had an acura, where almost everything came standard, so:
1. I hate that xenons and heated seats are an option.
2. I hate that you can't tilt the roof without removing the shade (all the way).
3. I hate that the navigation tells you directions for EVERY INCH you move.
4. I hate that I have to switch it to S mode every day.
5. I hate that 90% of the time, the text messages don't import.
But all in all, I love my car.

2013 C350 Coupe
I bought my 2013 C350 in November and very satisfied.
Here are some things to improve or change:
1. Passenger front seat controls should be exactly like the driver's seat. The passenger controls being a combination of manual and electric is confusing to the consumer. Cars far cheaper than this have their controls mounted in the same place and looking much more coordinated and logical.
2. Very obvious wind whistle with the windows open.
3. I replaced the plastic door pins within a week of purchase. Bought some AMG pins and look much better.
4. Xenon headlights should be standard.
These little annoyances are small to me. I have no buyer's remorse at all with this car.

Half and half passenger seats are ridiculous, in order to get fully automatic seats it would have to be full leather package, which is hard to find Embarrassing to tell someone that you have to manually adjust their seat in a 50k car.

I had the same trouble but after fiddling with it for a while I finally got it. You may have a "rolling code" in your opener, which makes the procedure a bit tricky. First, clear the transmitter by pressing Buttons 2 and 4 simultaneously, then press the button you want to use, e.g. #2. THEN... with the garage door open, climb a ladder to the drive unit in the garage and press the Transmit button. Then RUN back to the car and press the #2 button. You have 30 seconds to do this or you'll have to start over.
You might want to check some of these details in the book, especially the paragraph about the rolling code, but this is what worked for me. Good luck!

C350 4Matic Coupe
New to Mercedes with a C-350 Coupe 4Matic purchased in Canada. Pleasantly surprised at its power, quietness, and the audio system (Harmon Kardon) - it all seems even better than what I remember from test drives.
Only annoying thing is the inability to remember the Sport setting which defaults to E every time. That seems contrary to what MB provided with the ECO start/stop setting which is controlled by a dedicated switch. If MB wanted the car to default to the most economic mode of operation then both the ECO and Sport/Economy settings should default to ECO and E. Alternatively, if they wanted the user to have full control then both settings should be selectable by the user and remembered. As it is now one setting is remembered the other is not. Very illogical.

hate the fact that a 50k MB coupe has door frames! i actually didn't pay too much attention during test drive, but realized that when i picked up the car. i thought coupes don't have door frames, so that when you have your windows rolled down, and open the door, it's just the door part and no frame for the window.
this is so stupid, only something like an accord coupe have. even genesis coupe, brz, frs, 3 coupe, a5, none of them have that stupid frame

frame less doors on my Infiniti G37 coupe licked water ... so yes I agree it is better but not always practical.

The stock amp is underpowered and unable hit quality "highs". Its not bad its just not something I would expect from MB and Harmon. Only really an isssue with high end aftermarket subs.
Also only having 1 12V socket and it being conveniently placed behind the back passenger air conditioner on the center console is kinda lame. The E350s have one in the glovebox as well as I believe the center console. Makes radar detectors harder to install properly.
The "roll down the window as you walk to your car" feature doesnt seem to want to work for my car unless im very close (even with a fresh battery) and by the time it starts rolling down the window im already standing in front of the door. It also only works on drivers side...wtf?
my biggest annoyance about this car (and im positive it is with others as well) is having the car by default start in ECO mode. Does anyone actually use this? Its a cool piece of technology, but unless you are in city traffic I really dont see it being worth it. It would be nice to just hit that push to go button, shift to D, and take off rather than start up, turn off ECO and switch to S before taking off. Doing a memorable pre set for the engine kinda like with the seat positions would be so freaking awesome.
One of my favorite features on this car is the "hold feature". When I learned about this I was so pissed my dealership didnt show me when I bought the MB!!! I practically use it at every red light. It could be good for racing too eliminating the need to switch your foot from brake to gas.
These are all minor complaints that dont even come close to outweighing the positives about this car. I love MB and will probably be a life long owner.

i hate that the car AC smells like mildew when i turn it on on a hot summer day. dealer says it is a common problem with the ACs in the desert due to condensation on some kind of filter and MB won't replace that under warranty. i also hate the downshift lag.

2011 C180 Coupé (prev '99 CLK200)
Hello,
I just discovered this forum, as i posted here please excuse if not using rights terms i'll do my best to speak english
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-c...top-light.html
My main criticism of that car is interior noise.
I previously owned a clk 200 and it was really quiet. I bought a used c coupé of 2 years old (because prices are too high in france for me to buy new) it works for month without noises but as time goes, little noises appears here and there.
The car is no more under warranty and sound like a low cost car with lots of little interior noises/vibrations when I switch off the radio on bumpy roads that quite incredible for a MB and rather disapointing.
The second criticisms is the wheeldrive is a bit sensitive, it has no hard "center point" i don't know how you tell that in english but i think it's not hard enough on highways to keep straight trajectory, even a really little slight move of the wheel and the car turns, i'm not really surprised beacause my previous clk also required attention when driving at high speed, but i prefer hard wheeldrive at high speed (maybe the car needs a little geometry pinching in the front wheels to correct that).
Other things were already told here: unable to force S mode, unable to remove Eco mode (i drive in traffic jam with no redlights so as soon a motor stop i had to restart, completely useless and unpractical for me and i think not good for the starter), kickdown a bit slow, window frames, talkative gps, speedo error of -4km/h compared to gps.
Well, it's easy to tell whats wrong, but i love this car the look is amazing and it's quite rare on roads here and i have a smile everyday i open the garage .

I dont know if anyone has experienced any issues with the parking sensors or not.. mine seem to have a mind of their own once in a while.. sometimes they go out completely other times start beeping continuously when nothing is around.. i've even had the lights go crazy on me and start flashing non stop.
Also, sunroof issues!! at times when i close the roof it will close 3/4 of the way then go back automatically to half closed position and stay there.. have to do it a couple of times to make it work.
other than that.. love the car

2014 c350c
had my 2014 C350 Coupe for a full day now. Here are some MINOR MINOR gripes I have:
Seat belts are placed too far back behind the front seats. it's a struggle to grab them.
ECO Mode is automatically on when the car is turned on. Same thing with Economy style driving.
The rear backup camera is pretty horrible.
havent played with the COMAND system enough to find the little things that annoy me yet.
