Was thinking about doing this: http://www.stickercity.com/3M-Matte-...1080-M230.html to my c250 coupe, trying to get the look of that matte grey designo paint that comes on the edition 1, would like to hear your thoughts, and any installers in florida you can recommend, sign zoo wanted $1500 for matte black wrap material, $1,200 to wrap my escalade and am waiting to hear back from them about this car

Judging from the video, it's hard to tell that it's a matte grey finish.

That & I would rather go for a matte black finish.

I think the edition one cars are a darker color. BMW has a flat gray color though that's a lighter shade and doesn't look too bad.

+ 1 to what sportstick said - it'll look like it's wearing undercoat why would you want such a finish on such a nice prestige car

Grey to black might help a bit, but I still don't understand this mod. Seeing a matte car just makes me want to break out the polish and wax! Different for different's sake...not more pleasing to my eye.

I've seen the designo matte white in person and I really liked it. It's not like primer. The finish has a dull sheen instead of the high gloss. I would love to get mine done up with matte silver. I think it would look great. There are quite a few MB promo pictures with the matte silver finish.
