Jctevere's C250 Coupe Build Thread
Hey guys, so I have been getting a lot of questions lately about my mod and people messaging me for more information, so I decided to do a build thread of my vehicle to help people keep track of all the modifications I have done to my car.
Here is a modification list which I will follow up with pictures and videos:
- JB+ Tune - Dialed to MAX (Burger Motorsports)
- BMS K&N intake (Burger Motorsports)
- 35% Tints
- SL-Style Grill
- Blacked out lower middle portion of front bumper
- C63 Diffuser
- Titanium C63 styled quad exhaust
- Factory Muffler and Resonator delete, replaced by single magnaflow magnapack and y-pipe to feed quad exhaust tips
- 6000k LED reverse lights
- Tinted tail lights
Now onto the pictures!
Here are some videos:
Overall review:
Stock 0-60 Run:
JB+ Tune & Intake Sounds:
Custom Quad Exhaust Revs:
Please refrain from quoting this original post so that it doesn't get extremely long and cumbersome.
In the future, I plan on doing a drive-by video so I can showcase the exhaust sound much better, as well as a new 0-60 video now that I have all my performance modifications in. Also, I am hoping to get some aftermarket rims installed soon!
Hope this helps, any questions or comments, please feel free!

Thanks guys, just got around to doing a new 0-60 video after all my modifications.
As expected, no real change power-wise for WOT applications. However, as you can tell, its much louder and the sound I now get after shifts is aggressive. I like it!
With that said, the 0-60 might not show this, but the car feels much more powerful, especially during non-WOT applications. For this very reason, I would suggest getting the intake and tune!

hey buddy,
i have been on n off at this forum, following some of the interesting threads and your one of the members that i keep on seeing, i can say you have a quite knowledge about these cars, its obvious ur the true enthusiast, i apreciated things u share here, ur helping a lot. loved the modifications u done to ur car so far, specially quad tips. about the tune, first time i watched ur stock 0-60 run stok was pretty good for this underpowered heavy car i thoughtmaybe with the tune and an intake result could be even beter believed me i have waited so long for this run but i must admit its a bit disapointing man all those modifications and result is only 0.10 sec?is there anything we can do about the WOT aplication? ( sorry im not that good at car engine etc) i was thing of getting the tune since my brother is coming from the states soon, my country is 2 hot during the summer (43-44 degree) would this cause a problem?
you are a good inspiration here man keep up the good works!

As far as performance increases, the car is rated at 7.0 0-60 stock. Although I had a run of 6.4, it was definitely an ideal with inconsistent results; as stock I would range from 6.4-7 seconds 0-60. Whereas with the and intake, the runs are pretty consistently in the 6.3-6.5 second range. So you can say its really a .7 second improvement over stock figures.
With that said, there is only a stage 1 right now, and the main bottleneck for WOT performance is the factory waste gate. Burger Tuning is working on a stage 2 that will increase WOT performance and a replacement factory waste gate, but in order to gain the funding necessary for R&D, he released this stage 1 tune to help fund that project.
Heat is never a good thing, but this vehicle is very good at controlling heat, so it should be fine. If you want to stay on the safe side, just don't "beat" on the car and constantly go WOT during hot weather conditions.

Hey, I got it off eBay, it's $200 including shipping, not a bad deal at all. It fits perfectly, but to do Quad exhaust, you have to remove a plastic lower piece on C250's since it blocks where there is no other muffler. Also, the stock brackets don't fit for the C63, so you can just have it secure by the clips, or pickup a set of C63 diffuser brackets so you can screw it back into the factory location giving better support.

I see there is a clamp to connect the mid pipe after the resonator onto the axle back muffler with the stock setup. How easy is it to go back to stock with your aftermarket setup?

I am curious, considering the money you put in the car - tune, intake, exhaust and my guess is your around 2k for all this and its not much faster. My question is for all c250 owners is why didnt you just buy the C350 it has everything you want - 302hp, much larger brakes, sounds like a v8 and it does 0-60 in 5.5sec and no mods. Its only about 3-4k more than a c250. This only applies to guys in the USA I understand all others pay a c63 price for a c250 in their country.

Have to disagree with you on the 350 "sounding like a V8" - I don't really understand where people get that notion from - even the ones with exhausts. It sounds typically 6 to me - not too dissimilar from the BMW & porsche offerings. That's why I love it.

ok maybe not
Ok its been many years since I owned a V8 so I guess maybe it doesnt sound like a v8 but I love the sound this v6 makes its a nice deep growl when you use the paddles and punch it out.

I wanted the rectangular quad tips like the E63 but it was around $400 just for the tips. So I ended up buying the same Ti style blue tips as you because it was the best deal on staggered quad tips I could find at $179. I hope you don't mind.
Do you have any side view pictures of your car that I can see how the tips look? Thanks

If you do a search on the W204 forum section you can see what it'll look like there's at least a few C Class sedans both C63 and other variants running with E63 style 'trapezoidal' tips.
I remember coming across them a while ago in that section
