2012 C350 Coupe Loaded
Production Numbers?
Does anyone know if the coupes were a limited production? I ask because I have owned my coupe now for just under a year. I have seen ONE other coupe since then. I live in Denver which is a large city.
I check the dealer from time to time and even they have maybe a couple at a time.
Just wondering whats up.

I'd be curious to know myself, too. I've only seen one or two other coupes around. One was a C250 and the other a C63 (P31 and everything, it was beautiful). I definitely haven't seen any 4matics so I feel like I'm in some rarified air.

Likely more a factor of market demand than production capacity. There is only so much demand for $40,000+/- non-sports car 2 door versions of a sedan twin. Historically, coupes have peak volume in their second year of production (allowing for launch year ramp-up volumes and awareness growth), and then decline subsequently, as they are such a style-motivated choice, once the novelty diminishes, the bloom is off the rose.

~ motor trend stated... according to mb, c coupes will account for less than 10% of all c class production.
(i have only seen 2 in my area and both black in color)

Makes sense...with the coupe base price about $2500 higher than sedan, that rate was based on a sales volume consensus, so enjoy your exclusivity if that's important to you!

2012 C250 Coupe
I see a good amount on Long Island... Heck, there are two sitting in my driveway. With that said I see MANY more 2012 sedans then I do coupes. The only other coupes I see are the ones in my neighborhood (C350 and C63). Aside from that, rarely see them. However, it is a new model, so I suspect when people's leases begin to end over the next year or two, they will pickup in volume on the roads.

I've had my car since June and have only seen four coupes total. Two were C63s and the others were C250s. I have never seen another C350 4Matic though. Does anyone know how many of them account for production? I'm in the northwest so you'd think if they were going to be somewhere, they'd be here.
