Selling new tires on C250 - how?
Hello all, just got my 2013 C250 black sport plus coupe today. To my dismay it came with all-season Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. I was hoping that it came with summer tires. I plan on autocrossing and doing HPDE event with this car so all-season tires are unacceptable. I plan on replacing them at the earliest convenience. How can I sell almost new Pirelli's? Does anyone want to buy them? Should I post on Craigslist or Ebay. If they get sold out of state it seems like it would take a lot to ship them. I can't believe all-season tires came standard on a sport plus model.
Besides that, love the car! Black with black rims is so sinister looking! I've had a mustang, C350, modded S4, and this is by far my favorite!

Yeah, my Sport Plus Sedan came with Conti AS Grand Touring tires. Yuck! Nowhere close to Bridgestone RE970 AS or even Kumho AS. Shame this is a short-term lease, otherwise the Conti's would be gone and the local Indy shop would be working on pulling some more power out of it.
Make sure you check the tire pressure. Mine were delivered 31/33, fuel door label calls for 35/38 or 38/41 for 100+ mph. Did you get the Dinamica seats as well?

Wish mine would have came with the nero zero tires (more performance oriented looking side wall/tread) ... I recieved the less than desirable a/s conti tires as 95% of us coupe owners.

I am thinking of getting Michelin Super Sport. The one that's rated #1. I wonder how long they will last to a season of autocross and a few HPDE's. Sports plus package came with pretty much everything...wheels, sport exhaust, stiffer suspension, dynamica seats, red seatbelts, rev-matched downshifting, and more. The car has no power at all below 2000 rpm. But once the turbo kicks in it pulls strongly through 6000 rpm. The sports shift mode is very aggressive, much more than the ones I experienced with 2008 C350 and 2012 S4. I only got 11 mpg so far. From a 1.8L 4 cylinder!

I purchased an extra set of wheels and Kumho RS3's for my C350 Coupe. total cost was about $1,200 and now I can use the A/S tires in the winter here in Maryland and the Kumho's for HPDE. I just did one on Saturday, 1/2 in the rain and was very impressed with the RS3's. They had lots of grip, were predictable and were actually quite good in the rain. I used a square set up of 225/45/17 all around.
