Where abouts are you from (ie. Country) ?

In most international markets it will be a 3 or 4 month wait including build time and shipment and then delivery.

Unless there's a vehicle to your requirements already on the showroom floor then it's a very quick process.

In my case (Australia) it was between 3-4 months and I didn't mind the wait at all, I wanted a brand new custom built order from Germany and that's exactly what I got

I just placed an order a few days ago and they said I should have it sometime in Dec. So that would be around 2 months. But they won't know for sure yet.

You didn't mention where you are located. The ships to the US come into Baltimore or Jacksonville on the east coast, and have to make the trek through the Panama Canal to transport to the west coast port in Southern California. From there, the cars who'll travel via surface transportation to their final destination.

The car that I ordered was built on September 17th and will arriving in port in California on October 28th, followed by delivery to my dealer on the 31st.

It may also make a difference as to where the vehicle is built or what Country it's origin is, it may require more of less of a delivery time depending on that.

Not sure about other markets, but here in Australia all passenger and coupe models are built and delivered from German factories, hence the 3-4 month delivery process
