Door pins on coupe

Anyone replaced door pins on coupe yet? I tried to unscrew original plastic one and they are screwed or snapped pretty tight, is this correct way to take them out?

I can't be sure on the coupe but I have them on my 2013 C250 sedan. They should fit any mercedes with the door pins (excluding the S and CL). Did you try to loosen by hand or using pliers and a cloth?

I am scared to brake anything, very tight. Can't by hands.

~ i have changed them on my coupe (carbon fiber) and a pair of pliers are needed to remove/unscrew the old (no saving them) and install the new.

You won't break them by using pliers if you cover the pins with a cloth then use the pliers over the cloth.

I replaced mine on my coupe also. You definitely need some kind of pliers. I found it easier, and less damaging to wrap the pliers rather than the door pin. I chewed up the first door pin that way. see this post:

some good info there.

Difinitely a worthwhile, simple and inexpensive mod which adds a nice finishing touch to this cars interior, I too have them and the result is so much better than the stock black plastic OEM units

With regard to intallation it is definitely a case of hit and miss in terms of removal difficulty, mine came off easily with only the drivers side requiring the use of plyers, installation of the new door pins was achievable without the use of any tools, they've been on now for about 8 months with no problems at all.

I recommend this mod for all for their MB C Class regardless of variant

I install oem amg pins last night fairly quick thanks, one question in locked position the are seem jumping too deep inside but I see no way to adjust this. I compared size of amg pins with plastic one and they are the same, so looks like it is normal? Unlocked position looks great.
