We are working on a tune to work with the off-road downpipe but we are not close on the tune yet. Mid-pipes are in stock and can be shipped right away.

$500 for a midpipe? Not trying to bash but I have a own custom exhaust made for my c250 for $300. Aggressive sound? check. no interior drone? check.

A midpipe is worth maybe $150, NOT $500. i think you guys need to do more consumer research regarding your pricing strategy....

It is well understood that their are lower cost options for exhaust systems available from local muffler shops and it is a great thing for those that are budget minded. We design all of our systems to use the factory connectors and laser cut stainless steel flanges. For someone that is interested in a factory style system with Mercedes ball and Seat flanges that connect to the other factory components, that is what we wanted to offer. We also wanted to make sure that all of our components can quickly be returned to stock for warrantee issues and lease returns. We are also looking for parts that can easily be resold by our customers after they return their cars to Mercedes.

To produce parts with that in mind is more expensive than utilizing a simple pipe bender and a welder. It is great that you are happy with your custom exhaust and I hope that you help other Mercedes enthusiasts that are looking for a low cost alternative to get something similar to what you have. RADO products are unique in the way that they are built. We are going after a particular look and feel that requires a large investment to produce but it results in delivering the product that we were after so we are quite happy with it.

We were never looking to be the cheapest product available and many of our customers are quite satisfied with the price that they pay.

You are always welcome to come to any of our meets at our shop and talk to other customers, even talk to them about what you have done on your car. We know that not every customer is the same, we only hope to do the best job that we can with the ones that choose to use our products.

The mid-pipe is 2.75" diameter.

This part combined with our downpipe should make for a great exhaust upgrade. Rear section exhaust piping and muffler should be ready for sale very soon.

If i put the rear section exhaust and the midpipe on..will i get any check engine lights....??....not going to do the downpipe right know

You will not get any check engine lights with that combination.
