Big Fin Diffuser for single exhaust
I want someone to manufacturer a Carbon Fiber Big Fin Diffuser for the Single Exhaust outlet. I have the tuned exhaust from the Sport Plus package and think trying to modify the exhaust to a dual would ruin the performance and sound.
I have a few sources I might try- Same DADsC63 uses for the CF Hood and Trunk in the C63 Section or maybe even EuroTeck.
Would anyone else be interested in this option?

+1 big time but for a dual because I have a 350.
Someone did it for the pre-facelift but I don't think anyone did for the facelift.
I don't think going dual will ruin the sound. A mate of mine changed his 250 rear to the 350 rear exhaust an it hasn't increased the volume much or ruined anything.

Also agree above about sound and performance integrity if a dual system is used in place of a single on any of the single system variants.
If it's done right AkaSigFreak or better still if one of the higher end purpose designed and made systems are used, there will be no going backwards on noise or performance, the only drawback on those is high cost.

Did he have the C250 Coupe W/AMG Sports Plus Package? It has different exhaust than the regular C250.

This one is pre facelift, ie 1st link ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

Not to worry though 2nd has the right one and as per AndresToys have also ordered one![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I may end up getting it nicely painted up in gloss black finish if I don't like the CF look, I'm wanting a more OEM finished result

Hmmm your right after continually going into there I'm seeing the right thing now and the description confirms it, was originally looking at another pic of the whole rear of the car of a pre facelift C Class on that page.
The diffusors themselves seem to be very similar, I took the link one option because of the free Int. shipping

If the base part of it where the fins end is as long as the OEM C63 diffusor which is much deeper than a C250-350 diffusor then it may need extra bracket supports found on the C63 unit, we won't know until we get one in hand.
I'm hoping the build and fit quality is as good as stated, thereby if it fits straight up and perfectly and also being CF which is much stiffer and stronger than the OEM thin plastic unit it may actually not require extra support or restraint from the brackets anyway - we'll certainly keep you posted

Unlike Andres I didn't jump straight in I emailed the supplier first to ask some of these questions we all have. I admire your confidence though! I almost did but figured a couple of days won't make too much difference. I have a fair bit of stuff on order at the moment anyway.
If it sounds good I'll be going ahead too. I'll let you know what I hear. I asked about fitment etc and price including shipping - should help us out AV1!

Certainly let us know of any outcomes, I too have lots of other items either coming or on order or looking into at the moment as well for my C Coupe.
The exhaust outlet modification is the first thing I've always wanted to do to this car even from before I took delivery of it, so now that appropriate hardware is finally starting to show up over a year later I'm definitely keen to jump onto it

Yes the shipping was very fast! And the installation was very easy. The fitment is good, you should use some double sided tape though. The finish is beautiful. It look so good in person. Thanks!

Thank you! The first step is to just pop out all the clips holding in the diffuser. Then the next step is to unclip the brackets. Then before installing the new diffuser loop some double sided tape through the holes where the clips go in. Then the next step is to just clip in the new diffuser and your done.

Wow, that looks awesome - can't wait for mine to arrive ![Cheers](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif)
I'm most probably going to get mine painted up in black so as to give a more OEM finished look![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
AndresToys which supplier did you buy yours from - link 1 or 2 ?? I ordered mine from link 2, however they seem to look exactly the same.
